The School of Part-Time Studies
Students who do not have the admission requirements for specific apprenticeship and post-secondary programs may wish to complete the Academic & Career Entrance (ACE) Certificate.
All ACE online students must complete the “Learn to Learn” course prior to enrolling in ACE. This 20-hour course will determine suitability to online learning and academic upgrading. To register for Learn to Learn visit www.acedistancedelivery.ca and click on “L2L Registration”.

ACE COURSES INFORMATION
The ACE Certificate Program is specifically designed for upgrading academic skills of adults and is offered via OntarioLearn Distance Education. ACE allows students to achieve the entrance requirements for apprenticeships and many post-secondary programs in a relatively short period of time. The Academic and Career Entrance Certificate is a recognized Ontario Grade 12 equivalency for the purpose of entrance to post-secondary, apprenticeship registration and employment.
This program is paid for by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. The ACE Program is tuition free for Ontario students attempting online courses the first time. Subsequent attempts to complete an ACE Online course will require payment of tuition fees.
