Making it Fit Advancement Learning Inaugural Conference Hosted by The Lambton College Foundation

Sarnia, ON, June 25, 2012 – The Lambton College Foundation and Alumni Association team in support of Colleges Ontario will be the official host of the Spring Advancement Learning Conference “Making It Fit” on Tuesday, June 26 and Wednesday, June 27, 2012.

The two-day conference will enable Development staff in Foundation and Alumni roles to share ideas while learning how to take their own activities to the next level to maximize results. A second day has been planned for the conference to offer extended collaboration, networking and education.

Linda Franklin, President and CEO, Colleges Ontario will kick off the conference followed by a number of industry expert speakers including Christopher Surian, Director of Development for Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine who will speak about ‘Deepening Relationships with Alumni’, Celeste Cannon Waterman, Senior Consultant, Systems and Analytics, KCI Ketchum Canada who will focus on ‘Prospect Research and Donor Analytics’ and Derek Dochstader, Director of Business Development, Innivity Marketing Group Inc. who will discuss ‘Fundraising From Your Donors’ Perspective.’ Other Speakers will discuss Affinity Programs as well as Cultivation Events.

Representatives from 18 Ontario Colleges are expected to attend.
