How to Apply – applicants should be encouraged to apply “online”

The online application at www.ontariocolleges.ca is the quickest and easiest way to apply to college. (For those who prefer the paper application, forms are available from the Ontario colleges and OCAS. The paper application process takes longer to reach your college choices than when you apply and pay online.)

Online Confirmation:

Confirm your acceptance of an offer online at www.ontariocolleges.ca. Follow these easy steps:

  1. Click on My Application in the top navigation bar.
  2. Enter your username and password and click Login.
  3. From the Main Menu, click on Offer of Admission.
  4. Click on the link for the date that you want to start college.
  5. Select the Offer of Admission you would like to confirm.

If you do not wish to confirm online, call OCAS’ Customer Contact Centre to confirm your offer over the phone.
Do not mail your acceptance of an offer to OCAS.

Ontario Postsecondary Transcripts:

Ontario college and/or university transcripts must be requested online, using the Transcript Request feature of the application on the OCAS website. If submitting a paper application, call the OCAS Customer Contact Centre to request Ontario college and/or university transcripts (OCAS will process the request for you online). OCAS will not accept originals or photocopies of Ontario college and/or university transcripts.

Equal Consideration Date:

All applications received at OCAS on or before February 1 (Equal Consideration Date) for fall 2007 programs will be given equal consideration by the colleges. After this date, applications are still processed but are considered by the college on a first-come, first-served basis. Use the Find Program feature on the OCAS website to find out which programs are still open and accepting applications.

We would prefer that you refer applicants to the OCAS website or Ontario College Guide for application fees.
Application Fee: $85 for five program choices, with no more than three at any one college.
International Document Assessment Fee: $50
International Document Return Fee: $10
