Residence Tax Information
How do I get an Income Tax receipt?
The Lambton College Residence is a ‘designated residence’ by the Ministry of Revenue for the purposes of Property Tax Credit. Residents can claim $25 as their occupancy cost for the part of the year they lived in such a residence on line 4 of Form ON479 and by entering a tick beside box 6114 of Part A of the Declaration on Form ON-BEN. For this reason, the College does not issue tax receipts for residence fees.
