The Industrial Management program is intended to: develop an understanding of the role and requirements of industrial management; develop an appreciation of the basics of industrial management; provide the fundamental knowledge and skills requisite of good industrial management; develop communication and interpersonal skills; develop quantitative analytical skills with management applications; provide exposure to the social sciences.
Students are required to take 11 required courses and 9 optional courses. These optional
courses may be chosen by the student to meet job specialty requirements, personal interests,
or long-term educational goals.

The Industrial Management program is intended to provide those people working in or
aspiring to a supervisory or first-line management position, and who are without formal
training or a college diploma, with basic industrial management theory and skills.
