Legal Office Assistant

The law office environment can be a pressure or precision-based environemnt. This award of recognition is geared towards preparing you to be a vital part of that environment. The legal-based courses designed specifically for the practice and procedures of the office and focus on how these tasks are preformed. Through a series of examples and exercises, you will become familiar with forms and processes required in all areas of the legal system. Parts II and III of the program provide an overview of specific legal areas.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

O.S.S.D. or equivalent
-OR-
19 years of age or older

Mature applicants must be at least 19 years of age by the start of classes and be out of secondary school for at least one year. Mature applicant testing is available in the Counselling Department. The test(s) will demonstrate equivalency in required admission subjects. For more information please contact the Counselling Department at ext 3412.

PROGRESSION REQUIREMENTS

Part I to be completed before Part II, Part II completed before Part III.
