PROGRAM INFORMATION
This award of recognition program provides the student with the skills required to assess and develop a small business idea, establish effective customer service and sales skills, understand small business accounting and learn introductory word processing and spreadsheet software skills. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTSO.S.S.D. or equivalent, or 19 years of age or older Mature applicants must be at least 19 years of age by the start of classes and be out of secondary school for at least one year. Mature applicant testing is available in the Counselling Department. The test(s) will demonstrate equivalency in required admission subjects. EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIESGraduates will be well prepared to pursue self-employment and small business owner/operator opportunities.
