Students wishing to withdraw from an online course have about 10 days to do so in order to receive a refund. It is always advised that you consult the Important Dates & Deadlines when you enroll to ensure you know when your last date to withdraw is. View Dates for OntarioLearn courses. If you withdraw by the withdrawal deadline, you will receive a full refund less a $15 administration fee. No refunds will be issued after this date.
To withdraw from an online course, please contact the Registrar’s Office at 519-542-7751 ext. 3304 or contact Cassandra Helps at cassandra.helps@lambtoncollege.ca. Please give Cassandra as much information as possible including: your name, student number, course title, course code and section.
Students may also wish to withdraw from a course without academic penalty. This date is about mid-way through the course and although students won’t receive a refund, they will receive a “W” on their transcript instead of a grade. This is most often the best option for students who aren’t doing well in a course.
