This program is designed for First Nation students who lack admission requirements and seek further preparation for acceptance into degree-level programs at a range of universities and colleges.

Graduates of this program will have a strong understanding in a variety of subject areas and will be well-prepared for studies at the university level. Subject areas covered include: science, mathematics and social science.

Students learn the skills required to succeed in an environment similar to Universities. Lectures are relatively fast-paced and lecture notes are frequently published in advance to provide students with the opportunity to prepare. Time management skills are highly emphasized so that students complete homework, assignments and lab reports on time. Graduates learn to prepare for quizzes and tests using independent- and peer- assisted learning styles.

Through strong partnerships between Lambton College and The University of Western Ontario and University of Windsor, First Nation students who graduate from this program with the requisite GPA will be guaranteed admission.

Note: Qualifying for the top category of applicants for any program does not guarantee entry into the program. Universities and colleges will decide on a case-by-case basis whether the applicant is admitted into their program.
