The College Exploration program is designed for students who wish to explore career, education and training options, while acquiring some vocational competencies and generic skills as a base for further studies or employment entry.
This program provides students with a competitive edge towards gaining admission to highly competitive programs. Courses may be selected from a wide range of disciplines, including humanities, social sciences, business and technology to meet the individual’s needs.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
O.S.S.D. or equivalent with:
Grade 12 English C or U
Course equivalencies can be obtained through the ACE upgrading program or pre-programs offered at Community Colleges. Please contact our counselling department if you have questions about equivalencies at 519-541-2402.
Mature applicants must be at least 19 years of age by the start of classes and be out of secondary school for at least one year. Mature applicant testing is available in the Counselling Department. The test(s) will demonstrate equivalency in required admission subjects. For more information please contact the Counselling Department at ext 3412.
