Dream of managing a successful fashion-based business? Want to become the upper echelon in fashion commerce? Lambton College’s Fashion Business program will prepare you for a career in this exciting and vibrant industry!
Lambton’s Fashion Business program takes a multi-dimensional approach to educating students for careers in the fashion industry by combining studies in business fundamentals with fashion theory. Students are introduced to the fundamentals of buying, visual merchandising, merchandise planning, product development, store logistics and importing/exporting through hands-on projects and activities. They gain industry-specific experience while running the Fashion Business Boutique and gaining valuable insight into the client/customer relationship as they role-play customer service scenarios.
A co-op placement will allow for essential industry exposure, networking opportunities and can be international or domestically-based. Education is enhanced through field-trips, volunteering in local fashion events (event management experience), space planning (in-house visual merchandising displays) and multi-media experience maintaining the Fashion Business social-media websites.
Realize your dreams with an all-encompassing education that is as vivacious as the fashion industry itself!
