Creations Fine Dining / Winter Term

During the winter semester the first year Hospitality and Tourism Management students and Culinary Management students team up to operate Creations Fine Dining on both Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting late February.

Creations’ demonstrates a commitment to sustainability by offering a core a la carte menu which embraces the 100 mile philosophy. That is, the menu features items that travel less than 100 miles from “field to fork”, wherever possible. This "Going Local" approach has earned Creations special recognition as a 2009 and 2010 VQA Gold restaurant award of excellence from the Wines of Ontario Association.

In addition to our sustainable a la carte food and wine menu available every night, the students will design a nightly specialty soup and entree selection inspired by gastronomic research of regional cuisines. Specific information will be shared once students have developed their themes and selected menu items.
