The field of Human Resources Management is increasing in importance as organizations recognize that the effective and efficient management of an organization’s human resources can provide a competitive advantage. The three-year Business Administration – Human Resources program provides students with a strong foundation in essential business knowledge and expands employment opportunities by teaching students human resources skills in human resource planning, staffing, training, labour relations, health and safety and compensation and benefits. Students enjoy the interactive learning approach and high level of participation through group work, presentations and collaborative projects.
Whether you're working towards a career in Human Resources with the Certified Human Resources Professional (C.H.R.P.) designation or a career in general business administration, this program offers you a strong foundation to build your future goals and become a success.
Courses in the program prepare students to write the National Knowledge Exam to obtain the Certified Human Resources Professional (C.H.R.P.) designation. As of 2011, candidates for the National Knowledge Exam must have a university degree.
